So finally, we get some more news on this hype-machine! woot!
Gamestop has listed PS Vita memory cards as ranging from 4GB to 32 GB. So that's means we'll have a wide range of choices if we were to choose how much storage we want. Seems great, just like the SD card.
But wait until you hear this, the card costs starts from a mere $30, going up to $120!!!
Wait a minute. I'm not trying to bash SONY or anything but...
30 freakin' dollars for a measly 4GB? That's totally insane!

The last time I checked, a 4GB SD card costed about... wait for it... only 4 USD! You could skip lunch for a day and you could buy a 4GB SD card the next morning. 4GBs are just that cheap nowadays. So why does Sony keep on going up the wrong road when it comes to memory? Why is the SD card the road not taken? 30USD for a mere 4GB is just asking for way too much.
The costly Vita facts:

- The PS Vita itself costs $250. (3G model costs $300)
- In Japan PS Vita games cost $60-80 (cartridge) and $40-60 (downloaded)
- It's safe to assume that it will cost $50-60 (cart) $40-50(downloaded) in the NA.
- The PS Vita doesn't have internal memory. (What the...???)
- A memory card is REQUIRED to play downloadable games on PS Vita. So it's like you're forced to buy it if you really want to play games.
- The cheapest memory card costs $30.
- You can buy about 8 4GB SD cards for the price of ONE SINGLE 4GB Vita memory card.
- If you had UMD games on the PSP, you'll have to repurchase them (at a discounted price) if you wanted to play them on the Vita.
- Suddenly, PS Vita costs more than you could imagine. (actually, $250 seemed to cheap for the hardware to begin with)
- ????
- Profit... maybe.
