7 Things you never knew about Lefties

...like a boss!

 About 90%-95% of the world's population is made of right handed people. That means there's only about 5-10% of lefties out there. Are you one of those people? Or do you know anybody who's a lefty?
Then you're lucky you, you-!

Guess what, lefties are actually pretty unique in their own way. No, it's not really because they write the 'wrong' way , they're unique in a whole lot of more ways than that.

Pfft... who needs right hands to play Skyrim?

The scientific Lefty facts:

1. They're affected by fear more
   
   Why? Well, as we know, the right part of the brain of lefties are more dominant  than their left brain  (as the brain works criss-crossly). Since the right brain is more involved with the more emotional things, such as anger and fear, it would only make sense if lefties were affected by fear more than the 'average normal' person.

2. Left means 'right'
   
   As we all know, the opposite of right things are wrong things, right? Or is it left things, huh? Since most of us 'normal 'people  in the society are right-handed, the right direction being the "right" thing always seemed more logically correct, and its opposite was always associated with "wrong" things.
   Lefties are the exact opposite of what righties think, no matter how many times you tell them that right is "right", and not left.
   
3. Political Win
   
   Out of the recent 7 presidents of the USA, guess how many were lefties? More than a friggin' half of them. Yup, that's right, only 3 were righties. What's causing this? Well, politicians like to gesture their hands all over the place. And guess which hand moves the most? Their dominant one, of course. So, lefties would move their left hand around more than they would with their right hand.
   
   And since most of us smarty-pants DON'T watch them in reality, (we watch them on the magical box that is the TV), it appears to us 'normal people' that the left handed politician is actually lifting his right hand (due to the flipped images) all the time. And of course, right means 'right', right? Right.

4. It has been thought that they live 9 years shorter than righties
   Google this and'll you'll find dozens of theories and explanation on why this is happening. Some say that it's because the tools currently in the market are mainly made with the righties in mind, thus, the lefties have to use more effort and energy to adapt to the tools.
   
   Some also say that this is because many lefties kill themselves accidentally when handling a built-for-right-handed tool or machine.
   
   Some even accept it as a welcomed thing. They say they won't have to burden their sons/daughters with the gruesome task of changing their old-people diaper every now and then.
   
   Well, the truth is, recent studies have debunked this 'fact'. Chill guys, there's nothing to worry about! I'm sure you lefties will live as long (or as short) as any other random guy you bump into on the streets.
   
5. The have their own Lefty Day
   
   And it's on August 13. Why? Cuz their just THAT unique..  And of course, everyone knows that unique people should get their own day, right?
   
6. They actually have higer temper
   
   Lefties have been found to tend to get angrier more quickly than righties. Some scientists say that his is because most of the negative emotion activity occurs on the right part of the brain, which just HAPPENS to be the dominant part of the lefties brain. But then again, some people think that this is just because lefties are frustrated most items and tools are always made righties.
   
   

   

   This frustrated lefty is either trying to slice up his laptop or kill himself.  probably the latter.

   
   
7. Some are right handed
   
   "Wha??? Right handed lefties? U Mad bro?"Those were probably the thoughts in your head when you read that, right? Actually, I really meant what I just said; some lefties are actually righties.
   
   Uhh... How's that even possible?
   
   There are three types of lefties, namely the pure lefty, the lefty righty, and the friggin' ambidextrous.
   The pure lefty is a lefty who uses his left hand for EVERYTHING.
   The lefty righty is one who uses his left hand ONLY for writing (and holding a fork) whilst using his right hand for almost literally everything else.
   The ambidextrous is one who can use both of his hands for writing, drawing, playing sports, or for anything possibly imaginable.

Now that you know this much about lefties, make sure you make use of your newly gained knowledge to your utmost ability, such as by doing your lefty friends a great favor at the theatre with horror movies...
