What makes Ninty even happier is that Super Mario 3D Land, the latest Mario rendition for the 3DS, has also made it's own record at 500,000 copies sold since launch (also in North America
ALONE), becoming the fastest selling portable Mario game
EVER. That means it beat NSMB DS, which has life-to-date sales of about 20 million copies sold. Just imagine how much SM3DL will sell in 5 years time. This also boosted the 3DS sales by about... let's see... 325%!!! W!@#$% ??!!!
